Roast Chicken Rice Bowl with Hot Honey, Peanut Crunch & Black Garlic

Hot honey roasted chicken rice bowl with kimchi, peanut crunch and black garlic sauce

Ingredients (Serves 2):

  • 2 large or 3 medium chicken breasts
  • 2 scallions
  • 50g Jan's Black Garlic sauce
  • 25g Jan's Peanut Crunch
  • 50g Jan's Hot Honey
  • 70g Kimchi
  • 10g Jan's Kimchi seasoning
  • 120g basmati rice
  • 20g vegetable oil
  • Water & salt

Method:

  1. Cook rice until fluffy.
  2. Seal chicken in pan with oil, glaze with half the hot honey, roast 8 mins at 180°C, glaze with remaining hot honey, top with peanut crunch.
  3. Sear scallions in the pan.

Plating:

Place rice in bowl, top with kimchi, scallions, Black Garlic sauce, and chicken breast.
