Hot Honey Glazed Beef Cubes with Umami Rice and Garlic Mayo

Ingredients

  • Tender beef cubes
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Butter 
  • Lightly crushed garlic 
  • Jan’s signature hot honey sauce
  • Red kraut seasoning
  • Steamed rice 
  • Umami seasoning
  • Creamy garlic mayo sauce

Instructions

  1. Season the beef cubes with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  2. Heat butter in a pan over medium-high heat. Add lightly crushed garlic and sauté briefly to release its aroma.
  3. Add the beef cubes and sear until browned on all sides and cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Pour in hot honey sauce and toss the beef until evenly coated and slightly caramelized.
  5. Sprinkle in the red kraut seasoning and mix well to enhance the flavor.
  6. Fill a bowl with steamed rice and press gently to shape, then flip onto a plate to form a neat mound.
  7. Arrange the hot honey beef cubes beside or over the rice.
  8. Finish with a sprinkle of umami seasoning on the rice.
  9. Serve immediately with creamy garlic mayo on the side.
